These BS718 M50SP Hydrometer calibrated @ 15°C are specifically designed for the testing of oil and petroleum related products as specified by the Institute of Petroleum (IP).
They can be supplied with Works or UKAS Certified Calibration Certificates traceable to National Standards (Must be ordered when purchasing the hydrometer).
Calibrated for reading at the horizontal surface of the liquid they have higher tolerances than standard BS718 hydrometers.
Available with Density (g/ml.) scales at 15°C., or Specific Gravity SP.Gr. at 60/60°F . Low surface tension only.

Upon request these hydrometers can also be made with scales in Kg/m3 @ 20°C
